Standard Horizon CP180 GPS Chartplotter
|
Using a GPS Chart Plotter has never been so easy! Standard Horizon's chartplotters have dedicated MARK and ROUTE keys that allow the creation of a single waypoint or creation of a route right on the Chart Page. Want to navigate to one of the marks or along a route? The GOTO key allows you to do so directly on the chart or via the popup menu when the key is pressed. A 12-channel WAAS receiver is at the heart of the CP180 and CP300. WAAS, the latest receiver technology, improves the accuracy and integrity of basic GPS signals. WAAS delivers pinpoint repeatable accuracy to within 3 meters of a vessel's actual position. This new technology, allows every boater to obtain the accuracy of a Differential GPS without the additional expense. The WAAS system currently covers the United States, Canada, Mexico, and parts of northern South America. Additionally, these chartplotters are EGNOS and MSAS ready, which will extend superior receiver performance to the United Kingdom and European Continent. Nothing beats the detail and impact of a color display. Featuring cutting edge transflective screen technology (TFT), the result is a display that delivers un-compromised bright, color chart detail in direct sunlight. To expand the detail on the base map, these chartplotters are compatible with C-Map NT+ and C-Map MAX cartography. You can also connect these plotters with Standard Horizon VHF Fixed Mounted radios with DSC polling capability. This is done by simply connecting 3 wires between the chartplotter and the VHF. Connecting the products together allows you to securely and privately poll and display another vessel's position on the display. To take this one step further, you can also access a DSC Call directory that logs the position of the polled vessels and also the position of a vessel that has transmitted a DSC Distress call. In addition, you can also show AIS targets when connected to an (optional) external AIS receiver. The optional FF520 Dual Frequency (50/200 kHz, 500 watts, or 1 kW) black box is a professional-grade fish finder with transducer ID technology and digital filtering that eliminate unwanted noise and sharpen echoes for enhanced fish separation. No matter what the conditions under the boat, you'll be fine-tuning your fishing, rather than your fish finder! The CP300C has 5 keys located under the display. By default, these keys allow direct selection of the Chart,Navigation, Highway, Tide and Celestial, and NMEA Input pages. These key can be programmed to change to Depth, SOG, Temp, or Wind Trend pages. Both units are supplied with a unique quick-release bracket that allows the Chart Plotter to be removed and stored when not in use. For custom installations, each plotter is supplied with all the hardware to flush mount in an area you choose. To make installation even simpler, Standard Horizon supplies a cut-out template sticker that allows you to find the ideal location and guides you where to make the cuts for that custom installation. Standard Horizon designs are made to withstand the punishment of the marine environment. The CP180 measures 7.1""W x 4.4""H x 1.7""D. The CP300 measures 9.9""W x 5.7""H x 1.7""D. Three-year warranty.
