The MDS Radar Sensors will connect to any new Si-Tex chartplotters to add full-featured radar capability. Compatible with the Explorer Plus, Trawl Plot 12, ColorMax Wide, Sealink, and Pro units, these radar antennas will display the full radar image directly on the display. You can also split-screen the display to your choice of chart, fishfinder (ES502 Black Box Fishfinder required), or radar images. You can even overlay the radar image on the C-Map MAX chart for an integrated overview of your surroundings (fluxgate compass required). Si-Tex offers five models. All have an adjustable VRM and EBL function to provide precise range and bearing information to any target displayed. Target intensity is shown in color shades to help differentiate returns. Other features include interference rejection caused by other radars operating nearby, FTC to reduce rain clutter, and STC to pick out targets hidden by high seas and spray. Two-year warranty.
